Helium is an loT ftavored blockchain. The activity of loT devices are recorded as transactions in the helium blockchain.Helium hotspot is a LoRaWAN device, which doubles up as a helium miner. loT is a technology that allows very tiny and small devices to be connected to the internet and they exchange data with bigger systems, often through a gateway or a LoRaWAN device. LoRaWAN expands to "Long Range Wide Area Network".It can provide low bandwidth internet connectivity to tiny and small devices, like sensors, for about 5-10 km range.
